When a quote is received, the client has the decision to Accept, Reject, or do neither.
Your quote will typically only be rejected if the client does not feel it is suitable for the project and does not wish to proceed. If you are not contacted, this is perfectly normal.
Typically, you will only be contacted by the client if they are interested in working with you on their project.
