How to find freelancers to work with

Updated over a week ago

To work with CGHero as a client, follow these steps:

  1. Sign up: Visit the CGHero website (https://app.cghero.com/auth/register) and click on "Sign Up" or "Join as a Client" to create a new account. Fill in the required information, including your name, email address, and a password.

  2. Complete your profile: Once you've registered, complete your profile by adding a profile picture, a headline, and a brief description of your company or project.

  3. Post a project: Click on "Post a Project" or "Get Started" to create a new project listing. Provide a clear and detailed project brief, including the type of work you need (e.g., 3D modeling, texturing, animation), any specific software requirements, the project's complexity, the desired style, and your deadline. Attach any reference images or files that can help artists better understand your vision.

  4. Set a budget: Establish a budget for your project, keeping in mind that the complexity, skill level required, and deadline can affect the cost. Be realistic and open to negotiating with artists.

  5. Invite Heroes: Search and filter through the over 6000 freelancers to find the best match for your project - https://app.cghero.com/heroes/search

  6. Review proposals: After posting your project, you'll receive proposals from freelance artists interested in working on it. Review each proposal carefully, considering the artist's portfolio, experience, skills, and proposed approach, as well as their estimated timeline and quote.

  7. Communicate with artists: If you're interested in a proposal, reach out to the artist to discuss the project further. Make sure you're both clear on the project requirements, timeline, and payment terms before moving forward.

  8. Hire an artist: Once you've found the right artist for your project, hire them through the platform. This will create a contract between you and the artist and allow you to collaborate on the project.

  9. Manage the project: Keep track of the project's progress by communicating regularly with the artist, providing feedback, and addressing any issues or concerns as they arise. Use the platform's messaging system and file-sharing features to collaborate effectively.

  10. Review and approve the work: After the artist completes the project, review the work carefully. Request revisions if necessary, keeping in mind that some artists may charge extra for extensive changes. Once you're satisfied with the final product, approve the work through the platform.

  11. Release payment and leave a review: Once the work is approved, release the payment to the artist. Be sure to leave a review and provide feedback on their profile, as this can help them attract more clients and build their reputation on the platform.

By following these steps, you can successfully work with freelance artists on the CGHero platform and bring your creative projects to life.
